Nice job.

Overall, I enjoyed this animation. I liked the sense of humor throughout it. There a just a few places where I think you could improve quickly and easily that would result in a better product by episode two. First, I think you should get a better microphone and better editing software. Audio peaks detract quite a bit from the mood of a scene, and they can be pretty easily avoided. Which leads me to my next comment: When Sherbert and Pokes were charging each other in the fight and they were yelling, it sounded like they were actually just whispering. It really sounds like they were trying to make a yelling sound while being quiet so as not to disturb neighbors or a baby or something. If you don't quite get what I'm saying, listen to that part again. The same thing can be said about when Sherbert is drawing the water, yelling for someone to help him. The best way to fix this problem is to have your voice actors actually say those lines at full volume. Tell them to actually yell. The only way to make it sound authentic is for it to BE authentic. But when you record those lines, have them back away from the microphone a few feet. That should keep the audio from peaking. Lastly, I'd like to address the song at the end. I can hear what you were going for with that song, and I think it could work, but it needs to be re-recorded. The vocals were very low, the guitar sounded unmixed, and overall, the song sounded rather empty. What I think you should do is set up a metronome to keep tempo, synthesize a drum track, record the guitar with a little more treble and a slightly cleaner distortion, record a bass part to fill the gaps, and then have your singer record her vocals at full volume (she sounded like she was holding back a bit as well). After you've got your parts recorded, mix it so you can hear everything clearly. Then, to test it, put it on a CD and play it in your car. The crappier the speakers, the better. If it sounds halfway decent in the car, it should be okay to put in the flash movie.
Now I realize I've gone on for a while about improvements to make, so let me just say that I really did enjoy this flash. That's the whole reason I'm writing a review this long. I'd like to see you really knock it out of the park with the next episode. I liked the character development, I enjoyed the writing, the animation was overall pretty solid, and you had some good voice actors when they were acting at full volume. On top of that, the singer in the song at the end sounds like she has a wonderful voice. Keep it up, man. Hope to see the second episode real soon.

Thanks and that was really helpful, Everything you said will be used and remembered during the long process of making episode 2! Thanks for going into such great detail and for pointing out the exact scenes you are referring to which makes it so much easier for me to relate and understand. I hope to see you back for Episode 2 and hope your next review is as detailed (hopefully a little happier) as this one!

Not bad.

Overall, not a bad job. The characters look slightly simplistic, but the animation is nice and smooth, so I don't hold it against you. However, all the characters being stupid gets a little old. If only a few of the characters were idiots, then those moments might be a bit funnier. The elements you brought in from the game are nice. A lot of this movie really FEELS like Resident Evil, so good job on that. One mistake I noticed was that Chris said he was part of triangle team, and Rebecca corrected him, saying it was alpha. In Greek letters, the triangle is delta. Apart from that, I didn't notice any glaring mistakes.

Um.....when that triangle joke was written....that had nothing to do with Greek letters? lol and only 2 out of 6 characters in this are noticeably idiots so heh?

I'm pleasantly surprised.

When I saw the title, "Swatting Terrorism," I knew it would be about the Obama fly swat. I immediately prayed to God that this wouldn't just be a video grab of Obama swatting the fly. Thankfully, it wasn't. When I clicked on the video, and saw an actual flash background and a preloader, I was reassured. That being said, placing the actual video of Obama and the fly where you did was perfect. Great. I think ending the video where he says, "Now, where were we?" would have been a bit better, but your ending wasn't bad. I got another little chuckle out of it. All in all, an excellent little distraction. Thank you.

I dig it.

I like the art style. The song was a good choice, too. I really liked how you chose to have the whole thing be a conversation with God. A lot of people are afraid to mention Jesus anymore. I've been really digging your animations for a while. Keep it up.

Hey thanks jesus is a good guy and powerful too i guess it wouldn't hurt to say hi once in a while eh? :-D

Nice pegasus.

I thought it was funny. Unfortunately, that tasslehoff person is right. While I, as a Christian (yay, Jesus) did not find this offensive, some people would. :( People take things too seriously sometimes. Meh. Anyway, I enjoyed it. Good job.
